I graduated with a Bachelor's in Education in 2014; When I had my first baby the next year, I felt there was something missing in my experiences, but I didn't know what exactly that was.

When I was pregnant with my second baby years later, I devoured everything I could about pregnancy & the birth process. I knew this was the missing piece!

In 2019 I studied to become a birth & postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth & breastfeeding educator. I began teaching virtual childbirth classes, and wrote a 12-week curriculum which walked expectant moms through all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Now, I hope to refine this curriculum and add video teachings to be able to offer through Simple Birth & Baby.

Upon completing the preliminary curriculum, I worked for a local pregnancy resource center as the Education Coordinator for a year and some change - managing classes and teachers, choosing curriculum, hosting a new moms group, writing articles, and meeting with clients 1:1. Much of what I learned during that time will only benefit in growing the services here at Simple Birth & Baby in 2o23!

Because you simply don't know unless someone tells you or you seek the information yourself, I wanted to provide education and resources to help moms in their journey toward motherhood, to be able to flourish in birth, postpartum, and beyond.

& this is where Simple Birth & Baby began.

These first 3 courses available are MINI courses, meant to be launched quickly to serve your immediate need and answer any general questions you have in preparing for birth and motherhood. 

In the near future, full length courses complete with a workbook, videos, and optional group or individual coaching will be available!

No. The books are faith-based, geared for Christian women. The courses are not. 

In the near future, there will also be a childbirth course specific for Christians, which will offer biblical affirmation cards and ways to include your faith in your labor and planning.
